Perfect Snacks, a leading snack company and subsidiary of Mondelez International, was struggling with time-consuming ecommerce reconciliations, missing customer deposits and payment discrepancies across multiple sales and payment platforms. They engaged Blue Onion and its proprietary data engine and automated order-to-cash reconciliation service to integrate with their ERP (NetSuite), order systems (Shopify, Recharge) and payment processors.
Blue Onion implemented an automated, ML-powered reconciliation solution that cleans, matches and reconciles transactions end-to-end, provides transaction-level reconciled data, dashboards and recommended journal entries, and flags discrepancies for fast resolution. As a result, Blue Onion reduced Perfect Snacks’ weekly reconciliation time from about 5 hours to 20 minutes, eliminated manual data processing, sped up the close process and improved accuracy, transparency and cash-tracking across the business.
