Case Study: Cameron County achieves clearer full-stack visibility and faster root-cause identification with Blue Medora

A Blue Medora Case Study

Preview of the Cameron County Case Study

Cameron County - Customer case study

Cameron County, Texas, a public-sector organization with about 1,500 staff and a 14-person IT team, was struggling to modernize aging infrastructure while improving visibility across its VMware and physical environment. Working with Blue Medora and VMware vRealize Operations, the county needed a better way to reduce alert noise, speed up troubleshooting, and identify the root cause of performance issues across critical systems.

Blue Medora implemented its vRealize Operations management pack for Cisco UCS, which aggregated alerts and added context from native UCS tools into a single view. As a result, Cameron County gained clearer red/yellow/green health indicators, caught issues that UCS had not flagged, and improved proactive monitoring across servers. The county also reported reaching 80% utilization and decommissioning several older systems, giving the IT team much better stability and confidence in operations.
