Southern Implants, a designer and manufacturer of proprietary dental implants, rapidly expanded from a two-person Fairfax office into a global, investor-backed business with a new Irvine headquarters, multiple remote locations and over 10 sales agents. Southern Implants selected and went live with Blue Link ERP (decision Nov 2007, live Feb 2008), integrating Microsoft SQL Reporting Services and Spreadsheet Server and using remote training/webinars. The new system delivered real-time inventory and lot control, multi-currency/multilanguage pricing, stronger backorder management and automated daily/weekly reports to sales and CSRs — cutting manual reporting time, improving customer service and giving the whole company timely business intelligence as it continues to expand.
