Nuovo Parts, a Wiseworth Canada subsidiary and the sole worldwide distributor of GE–Nuovo Pignone reciprocating compressors and turbines, supplies custom spare parts for the oil and gas industry. Rapid growth from $3M to $25M exposed limits in a 20+-year-old, manual legacy system that offered no real-time data, poor reporting and slow customer communication for long lead-time parts, forcing staff to spend hours pulling historical records.
Nuovo implemented Blue Link ERP for multi-company support and custom functionality, including the Automated Routines Manager (ARM) to automate customer communications and statement delivery, plus bespoke reports and data import/export tools. The new system delivered immediate efficiencies—saving about 100 days annually, reducing a full-time role to part-time, cutting statement processing by 2–3 days a month, and providing better reporting, faster customer updates and a rapid return on investment.
