ECS Coffee - Customer Case Study

ECS Coffee, founded in 1997, sells high‑quality coffee and espresso gear through office sales, a retail showroom and a Magento/Shopify eCommerce site, with over 30 employees and about 1,000 SKUs. The company struggled with disconnected systems—QuickBooks, a retail POS and their online store—which led to inaccurate inventory (only reliable at year‑end), manual website updates, incomplete customer histories across channels, no automated reporting or reliable COGS, and inefficient purchasing and returns processes.

ECS implemented Blue Link ERP with VL OMNI integration to connect all three channels, automate order flow and integrate shipping (FedEx). The system provided real‑time inventory, automated pick/pack/ship workflows, consolidated reporting and purchasing tools, and significantly reduced manual work—cleaning up warehouse operations, improving procurement and decision‑making, and enabling more reliable, scalable operations.
