The National Museum of the Royal Navy required a partner to refresh its core IT infrastructure to a best practice standard and provide escalation support for its in-house team. They selected vendor Blue Chip to centralize their infrastructure due to Blue Chip's experience in the entertainment and attraction sector and their ability to offer true 24/7 support.

Blue Chip implemented a solution using existing HP servers to build a VMware cluster and installed a new EMC SAN for resilient storage, centralizing the museum's IT infrastructure. They also provided ongoing support through a Flexible Managed Services contract. The results included a faster, more reliable infrastructure with increased storage capacity, reduced risk, and enhanced scalability. The project was completed on budget and on time, as noted by the museum's IT Manager.
