How Sysco's team of 40+ developers and admins support a complex Salesforce release flow with Blue Canvas

Sysco, a massive food distribution company, relied on Salesforce to support a large and highly customized org used by 40+ admins, developers, BAs, and release managers. As their DevOps process grew, they struggled with expensive Jenkins maintenance, limited rollback and audit capabilities for SOX compliance, and slow, manual release coordination that could take more than 2 hours even for small changes. Blue Canvas implemented a simpler Salesforce DevOps workflow with native Git integration and on-site support, including a new “Bulk Releases” feature to bundle changes for release managers. The result was a 90% reduction in deployment time, from more than 2 hours to under 10 minutes, 100% Git adoption for rollbacks and audits, and a shift from monthly releases to a two-week Agile sprint cycle.
