Xfinity needed a way to drive student engagement and sign-ups for its 2014 college tour and to promote new Xfinity deals on campus. In partnership with Comcast, Do It Outdoors and vendor Blue Bite, the campaign used NFC-enabled VIP Cards and QR touchpoints as part of a Mobile Promotions Campaign to encourage students to register for VIP access to on-campus shows.
Blue Bite powered embedded NFC/QR cards that let students tap or scan to register for VIP status on the spot, enabling immediate sign-ups and digital capture of attendee data. The Blue Bite solution simplified on-site registration, amplified campus engagement for Xfinity’s tour and provided real-time tracking of interactions for follow-up and measurement of campaign performance.
