Samsung tapped Blue Bite to showcase the Galaxy SIII’s unique NFC sharing capabilities and drive consumer preference against the iPhone. The challenge was to create an engaging, tangible demonstration of NFC in high-traffic out-of-home (OOH) environments that would convert awareness into sales.

Blue Bite deployed NFC-embedded posters in premium OOH locations so Galaxy SIII users could tap the poster to instantly download a free song, video, or e-book; the content was only accessible via NFC. The campaign generated immediate downloads and “Samsung envy,” and Blue Bite’s NFC solution helped the Galaxy SIII outsell the iPhone during the promotion.
