Pinko, the Italian women’s luxury fashion brand known for its iconic Love Bag, faced a rising counterfeit problem as the product’s profile grew. Pinko partnered with Blue Bite to deploy an NFC-based product authentication solution, embedding an NFC tag into each bag so consumers can scan with their phones to confirm authenticity.

Blue Bite implemented a tamper-proof NFC chip during manufacturing—hidden inside the Love Bag’s embroidery—to launch a “Your Love is Authentic” digital experience on scan. The Blue Bite solution prevents removal or alteration of the tag, deters counterfeiters, and enables authentication across brand stores, retail partners, online and the secondhand market, strengthening product security and consumer confidence.
