Pelican Water Systems, a consumer water-filtration company, wanted to be the first in its industry to adopt smart NFC technology to improve internal supply chain management and deliver a better consumer setup and support experience. Blue Bite was engaged to enable NFC on Pelican’s Smart-Combo product and to solve tracking and customer engagement challenges.

Blue Bite implemented an end-to-end NFC solution that tracked product IDs through the distribution cycle and delivered a consumer-facing experience with product diagrams, filter options, installation and maintenance videos, and tap-to-call/text support. The Blue Bite-enabled rollout covered 8,000 units, giving Pelican Water Systems industry-first NFC capability, improved supply-chain visibility, and instant customer support access.
