The Outdoor Advertising Association of America (OAAA) sought to boost attendee engagement and improve the user experience at its annual conference. To achieve this, OAAA partnered with Blue Bite and used NFC- and RFID-enabled smart badges (badge powered by Blue Bite) to provide contextual, location-aware content and interactions for attendees.

Blue Bite implemented the NFC/RFID smart-badge solution—including RFID antennas in badges—that delivered event agendas, local weather updates, social media feeds, nearby restaurant info, and real-time personalized welcome messages as attendees entered the venue. The Blue Bite-powered deployment increased engagement and made event information instantly accessible through contextual, real-time interactions.
