Moose Knuckles, a Canadian premium outerwear brand, needed to protect its reputation and customers from rising counterfeiting and gray‑market diversion while delivering transparency about sourcing and product care. To solve this, Moose Knuckles partnered with Blue Bite to bring NFC/RFID technology into each garment and extend traceability and storytelling from the supply chain to the consumer.
Blue Bite implemented a Blue Bite‑powered authentication experience tied to r‑pac’s TWINTAG NFC/RFID tags, enabling unique IDs, encryption and end‑to‑end track‑and‑trace from farm to retailer to buyer. A consumer tap confirms authenticity (“100% Moose”), provides contextual pre‑ and post‑purchase content (care, direct contact, resale guidance) and surfaces personalized product commerce, creating measurable impacts in product-level traceability, consumer trust, resale authentication and a new direct sales channel for Moose Knuckles.
