Kleenex wanted to help people stay ahead of cold and flu season by driving awareness and use of achoo, the “First and Only Cold and Flu Predictor” app. To get the app in front of busy consumers and make it useful during peak season, Kleenex partnered with Blue Bite to create a mobile-enabled out-of-home engagement campaign.

Blue Bite deployed an interactive digital OOH campaign using NFC, QR, SMS, geofencing and mobile web across 15 major U.S. markets — in airports, malls, doctors’ offices, taxis, gyms, office buildings, restaurants and stores. Consumers could tap or scan to launch achoo, receive localized three‑week risk forecasts, tips, a tissue calculator and purchase offers, delivering measurable reach across 15 markets, higher physical engagement than passive ads, and frictionless access and ongoing interaction via Blue Bite’s technology.
