Intersnack wanted to drive trial and repeat purchases for three new funny-frisch chip flavors (Salsa & Lime, Beef Burger, Flammkuchen) and partnered with Blue Bite to create a packaging-based mobile engagement and gamification solution using QR technology.
Blue Bite developed a product-specific, contextual mobile experience activated by QR codes on each pack so consumers earn a new level for every flavor scanned and, after all three, can enter to win a year’s supply. The Blue Bite platform enabled flavor videos, user ratings, and tracking without serialized QR codes (only three codes total), delivering higher engagement and incentives that encouraged additional purchases for Intersnack.
