BrewDog, the independent Scottish craft brewer, faced the common email-marketing problem of batch-and-blast campaigns that no longer drove strong engagement or sales. To lift clicks, conversions and revenue they needed to deliver more relevant, personalized experiences at scale.

Using Bloomreach Engagement (hosted on GCP) with native Shopify integration and support from partner Voxwise, BrewDog deployed personalized email campaigns in under a week and A/B tested them on 80,000 customers. Segmented by web activity, recent purchases and investor status, the personalized cohort drove 15.6% more clicks, an 11.5% higher conversion rate and 13.8% more revenue versus the non-personalized group.
