Kondela’s Online/Offline Strategy Results in 24.5% Conversion Rate

Kondela, a furniture retailer operating across Central Europe, needed a better way to capture customer data and consent from in-store visitors so it could continue the journey online with personalized ecommerce campaigns. Using Bloomreach Engagement, Kondela aimed to connect offline and online experiences and turn showroom visitors into identifiable, reachable customers.

Together with Bloomreach and Voxwise, Kondela trained store staff to collect shoppers’ email addresses and build product lists of items they liked in the showroom, which were then sent by email with personalized subject lines, customer names, and product recommendations. This approach enabled follow-up campaigns to both in-store shoppers and lookalike audiences, resulting in a 24.5% conversion rate and giving Kondela valuable new offline customer insights.
