Delivery Service Operator, a delivery service operating in 135 cities and a subsidiary of the world’s most popular food delivery group, needed to increase the conversion rate from viewing a restaurant’s menu to adding an item to the cart. They turned to Bloomreach Engagement, using its HTML component and A/B testing capabilities (and Direct Execution Layer) to rapidly test a simple on-site messaging idea.
Bloomreach Engagement implemented per-restaurant banners showing how many people were currently viewing each menu and ran A/B tests against a control group. Within less than two weeks the banner produced a 2.5% lift in cart conversion and an ~8.1% average revenue per user increase, delivering faster deployment, higher profit margins and measurable uplift thanks to Bloomreach Engagement.
