Texas Humane Heroes is a private, non-profit animal welfare organization operating two No Kill Adoption Centers in the Austin and Killeen/Ft. Hood, TX areas that is 100% donor-funded. They were frustrated after Common Ground by Convio was discontinued following a Blackbaud acquisition and found Salesforce too complex for everyday use, leaving their development team with a contact list rather than a true donor management system—so they evaluated and selected Bloomerang’s donor management platform.

Texas Humane Heroes switched to Bloomerang in early 2013 and uses it to track donors and interactions, run retention-focused reports and build donor caseloads, and integrate online donations via Bloomerang’s API for real-time data entry.
