A Bloomerang Case Study
Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center (SWCC) rescues native wild animals that have been displaced, injured, orphaned, or abandoned. As their donor database grew, SWCC struggled with duplicate records (even a misplaced period created new entries) and time-consuming manual donor data entry, which was costly — so they adopted Bloomerang as their donor-management solution.
Bloomerang became SWCC’s primary database in late 2014 and automated online donor information entry, made duplicates obvious and easy to merge, and integrated with their Firespring website. Bloomerang also supports weekly email updates, reporting for appeals and newsletters, donation filing, and tax-letter mailings; the result was significant time (and therefore cost) savings, better tracking of donor interactions and appeals, and more staff time available for animal care.
