A Bloomerang Case Study
ShowerUp, a Nashville-based nonprofit serving people experiencing homelessness with mobile showers and personal care, needed a better way to manage donors, volunteers, and communications as it expanded into new cities. Its previous mix of disconnected systems was clunky, costly, and difficult for staff and volunteers to use. ShowerUp turned to Bloomerang and its Giving Platform to replace fragmented tools with one integrated system for fundraising, donor management, and volunteer coordination.
With Bloomerang, ShowerUp quickly launched a volunteer sign-up page, improved segmentation and reporting, and made it easier to communicate with both donors and volunteers. The results were strong: volunteer growth increased 50% year over year, and ShowerUp now has more than 5,000 total volunteers. Bloomerang also helped the team streamline operations and strengthen supporter engagement by making it easy to cross-communicate with volunteers and donors.
