Second Harvest Community Food Bank, a member of the Feeding America network serving 19 counties where over 51,000 people are food insecure and more than 15,000 individuals are served weekly, needed a user-friendly donor management system to track donations, donor records, and run reports. To support fundraising growth and organizational sustainability, they selected Bloomerang’s donor management platform, including the Sustainability Scorecard feature.

Bloomerang implemented its donor database along with email solicitation and segmented communications capabilities and the Sustainability Scorecard, giving Second Harvest clearer visibility into sustainability metrics (used by their CEO) and a way to document face-to-face donor cultivation. As a result, Second Harvest has improved donor retention, grown its fundraising capacity, and increased donations over the past three years through better tracking and targeted communications provided by Bloomerang.
