How Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii Raised $2.8M with Bloomerang + Qgiv

Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii (BGCH) serves more than 10,000 youth across Oahu and Kauai while keeping membership fees very low, but the organization needed a more scalable fundraising and donor-management solution to improve donor connections, payment options, data analysis, and ease of use. To solve these challenges they partnered with Bloomerang (integrated with Qgiv’s fundraising platform), seeking better donor stewardship, turn-key analytics, and a simpler, faster giving experience.

Using Bloomerang’s CRM integration alongside Qgiv’s donation forms, peer-to-peer pages, digital wallets, gamification widgets, automated receipts, and email tools, BGCH streamlined data, personalized follow-ups, and scaled campaigns like Great Futures Day. The results: more than $2.8M raised over four years for that campaign, annual goal overperformance (e.g., 110% of $250K in 2020, 152% of $275K in 2021, 114% of $450K in 2022, 135% of $530K in 2023), roughly 100 new donors added per year, and about a 48% retention rate—outcomes BGCH attributes to Bloomerang’s integrated donor-management capabilities.
