CASA, a nonprofit that develops and manages affordable rental housing, struggled with an inadequate donor database that couldn't track moves, management notes, or volunteer activity, and relied on a clunky external email service with poor integration. To address these gaps, CASA selected Bloomerang for its hosted online donor database and integrated email service.

CASA switched to Bloomerang in late 2015 and implemented custom fields, online access for staff, improved email tools, and better online giving forms and acknowledgments. As a result, Bloomerang enabled CASA to track every interaction with donors, prospects, and volunteers, produce cleaner, more reliable emails sent only to interested recipients, reduce HTML/design issues, and lay the groundwork to grow monthly and online giving.
