Abbott House, a nonprofit that builds lasting foundations for children, adolescents and adults with complex needs, was looking for a streamlined, user-friendly donor database that everyone on its small development team could learn and maintain. They selected Bloomerang for its intuitive donor management system, donor-retention focus, and integrations (such as Firespring).
Bloomerang implemented a centralized donor management solution that improved online gift processing, thank-you letter storage, segmentation, reporting and data cleanup, enabling multiple staff to use the system and rebrand communications to be donor-centered. As a result, Abbott House increased donor retention from 46% to 55% (a 9% gain) and saw dollars raised grow 14.4% in the first year and 22.8% in the second year, while saving staff time and sharpening fundraising efforts.
