A Bloomerang Fundraising Case Study
Qgiv, a leader in online and mobile donation solutions, partnered with the All Saints Catholic Newman Center at Arizona State University’s Tempe campus to address declining offertory results among its primarily millennial congregation. The Center’s previous online donation solution produced insignificant fundraising results and covered only half the cost of running programs, prompting leaders to seek a broad cross-platform giving solution. “Qgiv provided us with the means to reach out to the young people we serve,” said James Timberlake, development director for the Catholic Newman Center at ASU.
After implementing Qgiv’s online and kiosk giving platforms in early 2013, the Center raised upwards of $47,000 through Qgiv’s Giving Kiosk in the first eight months (including $8,000 in month one), saw a significant increase in weekly tithes, and now forecasts recurring donations exceeding $2,000 per month—enabling substantial expansion of campus programs. “The Catholic Newman Center at ASU is a great example of an evolving organization that has had tremendous success using Qgiv’s online, iPad-based kiosk and mobile solutions to increase donation amounts and track scheduled monthly gifts,” said Todd Baylis, president of Qgiv.
