A Bloomerang Fundraising Case Study
NuPath is a Massachusetts nonprofit that supports people with disabilities and runs an annual peer-to-peer fundraiser called Walk the Walk. Facing high platform costs and time-consuming manual work on their previous provider (Classy), NuPath needed a more affordable, feature-rich solution to scale the event, streamline registration and reporting, and drive greater participant engagement.
NuPath switched to Qgiv for its lower cost and built-in features (registration toggles, real-time thermometers and leaderboards, easy donor acknowledgements) and paired the platform with leadership-driven peer-to-peer competition and a Club 50 program. The results were dramatic: average amount raised per fundraiser jumped from $90.20 in 2014 to $342.24 in 2015 and $510.78 in 2016, while Walk the Walk totals rose from $18,041 (2014) to $58,329 (2015) and $106,881 (2016), exceeding each year’s goals.
