Heart Ministry Center, one of Nebraska’s largest food pantries based in Omaha, provides food, healthcare, job placement and case management to people impacted by poverty. Facing inconsistent donor data and the need to improve donor retention, refine supporter records, manage a growing signature event (Holy Smokes) and build a stronger development strategy, the small development team sought an intuitive fundraising and donor-management platform.

By adopting Bloomerang’s donation forms, donor management, event tools and integrations, the center cleaned and consolidated data, scaled outreach, sold individual tickets and tracked sponsorships more effectively. The results: smoother check-in for 800 attendees, about 80 sponsorships, a successful matching paddle with 81 matching donors, year-over-year growth and 121% of their fundraising goal met while donor retention rose to 39%.
