Growing With Qgiv: Volunteers in Service to the Elderly

VISTE (Volunteers in Service to the Elderly) is a largely volunteer-driven nonprofit in Lakeland, FL that helps frail seniors remain independent through transportation, grocery and hot-meal delivery, caregiving supports and social programs. As demand and programs grew—serving about 4,000 clients with roughly 1,000 volunteers—VISTE needed a simpler way to raise funds, engage donors and streamline event giving to sustain and expand services.

VISTE adopted Qgiv’s online donation forms, peer-to-peer platform, Kiosks and training, plus reporting and GiftAssist tools, to modernize fundraising and on-site giving. The result: online donations rose from $33,840 in 2014 to $83,746 in 2016, a peer-to-peer Serve a Senior campaign raised nearly $30,000, and improved event kiosks and reporting increased donor engagement and operational capacity.
