A Bloomerang Fundraising Case Study
CROS Ministries, a long-standing nonprofit serving the hungry in Palm Beach and Martin Counties, faced a technology and fundraising crisis just as the COVID-19 pandemic began: a promised website never launched, their donation platform was unreliable, and previous vendors (PayPal, Classy, EmpowerGiving) proved costly or difficult for donors to use—leaving them without a functional online presence at the moment they were most needed.
They partnered with digital agency Achieve and fundraising platform Qgiv; Achieve rebuilt the website in under a week and provides ongoing support while Qgiv delivered an easy, affordable giving solution. The result was a 167% increase in online giving—$152,201 raised between April and December—with 589 donors (up from prior totals of 142 and 100) and a more than 533% increase in individual gifts, plus a smoother donor experience and flexible, contract-free pricing.
