Central Florida Speech and Hearing Center Dramatically Improves Fundraising Tracking by Using Qgiv’s Peer-toPeer Platform for the First Time

Central Florida Speech and Hearing Center, the region’s leading provider of speech, language, and audiology services—many subsidized for children in need—runs two annual community fundraising events (Mr. Central Florida and Women of Central Florida Fashion Show). For years the Center tracked votes and donations manually via spreadsheets, a time-consuming process that made real-time standings inaccurate and placed heavy administrative burden on staff as contestants constantly submitted cash/checks and requested updates.

To streamline tracking and boost online participation the Center adopted Qgiv’s peer-to-peer platform, completed complimentary training, and launched real-time leaderboards and thermometer goal displays. The result: much faster, more accurate reporting and a dramatic fundraising lift—nearly $198,000 raised overall, $147,924.61 recorded through Qgiv (a reported 300% increase for the fashion show)—and a process the Center says it will now use for all future events.
