A BloomBoard Case Study
Belmont University, a teacher preparation program, needed a better way to coordinate communication among graduate candidates, university supervisors, and methods instructors during clinical practice. Instead of relying on spreadsheets and scattered information, the university looked for a more efficient system to keep everyone aligned on candidate progress and development, using BloomBoard as the platform to connect the program.
BloomBoard provided a centralized place for observation notes, goals, resources, and performance data, giving instructors and supervisors shared visibility into each candidate’s work. As a result, Belmont could identify trends such as low scores in questioning and adjust coursework accordingly, while candidates received more targeted feedback and resources. BloomBoard also helped improve the consistency and usefulness of performance ratings, creating a smoother transition between classroom learning and real-world teaching practice.
