AT&T Boosts the Power of its Network with Bloom Energy

AT&T, a telecommunications company, sought more reliable and sustainable power sources to support its growing network operations and meet its environmental goals. To address the volatility of traditional electricity costs and increase its use of alternative energy, the company turned to Bloom Energy and its fuel cell technology.

Bloom Energy implemented its Energy Servers at 75 AT&T sites across four states, delivering a total of 41 megawatts of capacity. The solution provides constant, clean power 24/7, which significantly reduces carbon emissions and eliminates smog-forming pollutants. This allowed AT&T to achieve a key sustainability objective while securing a predictable and reliable power source for its critical facilities.
