Adobe Installs 1.6 Megawatts of Clean Power at San Jose Headquarters and Downtown San Francisco Offices

Adobe, a technology company, sought to reduce its carbon footprint and mitigate power outage risks at its Bay Area headquarters and offices. To achieve this, Adobe partnered with vendor Bloom Energy to install on-site clean power generation using their fuel cell technology.

Bloom Energy implemented a 1.6 megawatt fuel cell installation across Adobe's two locations. This solution allows Adobe to efficiently generate approximately 30% of its own electricity on site. The results include an expected reduction of its carbon footprint by 121.5 million pounds over 10 years, lower energy costs, and a significant production of clean electricity running on renewable biogas.
