Topaz Labs, a photography software company, wanted to grow its email list, social following, and overall brand engagement while lowering ad costs and building momentum for future promotions. To do that, they partnered with Blitz Rocket and used a social media contest approach powered by a contest-builder platform to gamify follows, shares, tags, and referrals.

Blitz Rocket helped Topaz Labs launch a contest with a targeted prize, bonus actions, and Facebook/Instagram ads driving traffic to a simple landing page. The campaign generated 44,853 email leads, 14,206 new followers, 13,105 social shares, and 3,973 trial accounts, while reaching more than 229,580 pageviews and converting at a 19% landing page rate. The contest also drove strong paid media performance, with email leads averaging around $0.21–$0.30 each and contributing to a major lift in BFCM revenue.
