Case Study: Pilot improves frontline engagement and employee satisfaction with Blink

A Blink Case Study

Preview of the Pilot Case Study

What happened when an organisation of 30,000 ran a 4 week proof of concept

Pilot, an organisation of 30,000 employees, wanted to improve engagement and satisfaction among its frontline workforce, especially its 21,000 bus drivers. With communications spread across email, an intranet, and notice boards, the company needed a smarter way to reach a diverse, geographically dispersed team with varying levels of technical confidence.

Blink delivered a 4-week proof of concept using its employee app solution, working closely with depot management, unions, and stakeholders across two bus depots. The pilot was a success: by the final week, 84% of users were active, 78% were active every day, and drivers opened the app an average of 6 times per day. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, 100% of users said they would recommend Blink, and the pilot secured funding for a wider rollout.
