Stagecoach, a transport operator with 21,000 bus drivers, wanted to improve employee satisfaction and strengthen communication with its frontline workforce. Facing a competitive driver recruitment market and the high cost of training new hires, the company identified low engagement with its existing intranet and turned to Blink to help reach drivers more effectively.

Blink ran a 4-week proof of concept with 500 drivers across two depots, using its mobile app to deliver personalized internal communications and information to drivers’ feeds. The pilot drove strong adoption and engagement: 89% of drivers opened the app in the final week, averaging six opens per day, and 100% said they would recommend Blink to a colleague. Following these results, Stagecoach rolled Blink out to all 21,000 drivers.
