The New York City Department of Education needed to modernize its process for managing School Improvement Plans (SIPs), which are known as Comprehensive Educational Plans (CEPs) in New York. To address this challenge, they partnered with Blenderbox to redesign their iPlanPortal system.

Blenderbox implemented a modernized workflow tool built in Microsoft Azure with React, C#, .NET, and SQL Server. The solution featured adaptive templates, permissions, revision history, and assignment tracking to ensure better control and accountability. The updated platform streamlined education plan preparation and submission, incorporating automated notifications and deadline-driven workflows. This significantly improved communication and efficiency throughout the entire process for the NYC Department of Education.
