AmaWaterways, a river cruise operator, wanted to position river cruising as the premier way to see Europe and drive Baby Boomer bookings through its own reservations system. The company engaged Blaze PR to design and execute a consumer-focused public relations campaign to reach that demographic directly.
Blaze PR ran a multi‑tiered program of teasers, targeted pitches and press releases combining traditional and social media, hosted a press trip with the AmaWaterways president for select journalists (Homefront, Global Traveler, Zoomer, USA Today, Globe & Mail), and scheduled one‑on‑one meetings during a New York media tour with Travel + Leisure, Departures, Forbes Life and the Wall Street Journal. The campaign generated more than 500 million media impressions.
