LiteHaus Repurposes 1000s of Enterprise Devices for Students & Computer Labs

LiteHaus International, a non-profit charity, works to bridge the digital divide by repurposing donated computers for students in the Asia-Pacific region. Their challenge was to securely and permanently erase sensitive data from a wide variety of devices to ensure safe reuse. They needed a fast, cost-efficient, and thorough erasure process that could provide auditable proof to their corporate donors.

By implementing Blancco Drive Eraser, LiteHaus gained a certified, in-house solution to securely sanitize data. This allowed them to confidently process devices and provide the necessary erasure reports. Partnering with Blancco has enabled LiteHaus to repurpose 7,275 computers, preventing 116 tonnes of e-waste and serving more than 105,000 students, all while injecting $3.4 million of social value into local communities.
