ERI Incorporates Blancco’s Data Erasure and Mobile Diagnostic Tools to Enhance Operational Efficiency

ERI, the largest fully integrated IT and electronics asset disposition provider in the US, processes over 275 million pounds of e-waste annually. This high-volume operation across eight different facilities required a highly efficient, scalable, and secure data erasure solution that could easily integrate with its existing proprietary systems. To meet its stringent data protection standards and maintain its environmental commitment to device reuse, ERI turned to the vendor Blancco for its data erasure tools.

Blancco implemented its suite of products, including Blancco Drive Eraser, Server Edition, and Mobile solutions, which integrated seamlessly with ERI's in-house systems via flexible APIs. This integration automated data importation, drastically reduced manual data entry, and decreased employee training time. The Blancco solutions provided a certified, tamper-proof audit trail for data security and became a key part of ERI's technological infrastructure, allowing them to securely and efficiently manage a high volume of devices.
