Liverpool Victoria (LV), a major UK insurer serving more than 5.8 million customers, struggled to scale its accounting close as the business grew. LV implemented BlackLine’s Account Reconciliations (going live in five weeks), integrating with Oracle to enable auto‑reconciliation and attach supporting documents. The solution saved substantial staff time, returned evenings to managers by reducing manual work, strengthened internal controls with standardized templates and clear ownership, and streamlined audits by giving auditors instant access to records.
