Consero Global, founded in 2006, provides outsourced finance and accounting services to more than 130 growing businesses through a cloud-based Finance as a Service model. Facing rapid growth, Consero’s teams were performing hundreds of balance sheet reconciliations in manual spreadsheets, a time-consuming, error-prone process that lacked transparency and scalability and required more headcount and training.
To address this, Consero adopted BlackLine Account Reconciliations (2018) integrated with Sage Intacct and rolled out the platform to clients and internal users (≈80). Automation eliminated repetitive Excel tasks and enabled auto‑certification of low‑activity accounts, while centralized visibility and notifications strengthened controls and accuracy. The result: significant time savings, improved reconciliation quality, increased client service value, and a competitive advantage in the sales cycle.
