Brambles, the global logistics company known for its blue pallets, operates in 60 countries across 123 entities. Before 2016 its finance teams used disparate reconciliation tools and spreadsheets, leaving more than 8,000 reconciliations siloed, journals and close tasks unmanaged, and finance leaders with little visibility or control during the month‑end close.

Brambles implemented BlackLine’s Account Reconciliations, Task Management, and Journal Entry across 244 users to standardise and automate the close. The platform delivered single‑view visibility into reconciliations and journals (about 5,000 journals monthly), enabled on‑time completion of reconciliations, consolidated 2,000+ tasks, reduced risk, and improved collaboration and agility across the finance organisation.
