Case Study: Marmon/Keystone Corporation achieves life‑saving lone‑worker protection with Blackline Safety

A Blackline Safety Case Study

Preview of the Marmon/Keystone Corporation Case Study

How Marmon/Keystone's investment in connected safety tech proved invaluable when an employee working alone suffered a health incident

Marmon/Keystone Corporation, a leading wholesale distributor with more than 27 warehouses across the US, Canada and Mexico, needed a reliable personal monitoring solution to protect lone warehouse workers. They selected Blackline Safety’s G7 wearable devices (including the G7c) for features like no-motion and fall detection, two-way voice, SOS alerts and 24/7 monitoring by Blackline Safety’s in-house Safety Operations Center.

Blackline Safety’s G7 system linked workers to live monitoring and automated alerts; when a lone employee suffered cardiac arrest, the G7c triggered a fall/SOS alert, SOC agents and the Operations Manager were notified within seconds, emergency services were dispatched, and on-site CPR and AED use were performed. The rapid intervention enabled by Blackline Safety’s monitoring and response saved the employee’s life — he was treated, hospitalized, and later fully recovered.
