Faced with an internally developed pricing system in Access and Excel, widespread manual “gut-feel” pricing, only enough time to focus on the 20% of SKUs that made up their core business, and inflexible basic pricing rules, Hoppa selected BlackCurve as their online price management system to modernize pricing.
BlackCurve implemented its price management platform to automate and scale pricing for Hoppa, managing prices for 40,000 routes across five vehicle types for B2C and for their B2B business across 1,000+ customers including Thomas Cook and LastMinute.com. BlackCurve’s extremely flexible dynamic rules library enabled Hoppa to manage the long tail of their business, reduce manual pricing decisions, and operate pricing at scale across their full route portfolio.
