Wall to Wall, the producers behind BBC One’s *The Voice UK*, needed a way to manage a 17-camera multicam setup with eight audio tracks per HD source. Standard Avid workflows only supported up to nine cameras, so the logging team needed a low-cost, remote solution for simultaneously reviewing all feeds and potentially rough cutting. They used Blackbird as part of the post-production workflow.

Blackbird provided a proxy-based multicam logging system that ingested MXF camera proxies into its platform, displayed all 17 synchronized camera feeds, and let loggers add notes with customizable shortcuts. The metadata then linked back into Avid for final conforming, helping Wall to Wall and Envy Post Production streamline production, support remote access, and log media 17 times faster.
