Tū Ora Compass Health - Customer Case Study

Tū Ora Compass Health is a large New Zealand primary health organisation supporting 60 general practices and roughly 300,000 patients across Wellington and surrounding regions. Facing strict health and privacy regulations, limited IT budgets, and an aging, dispersed mobile fleet used under a COPE model, the organisation needed to balance clinician mobility and patient outcomes with stronger cybersecurity — including remote device management, containerisation, password enforcement, data-usage controls and the ability to remotely wipe lost devices.

Tū Ora deployed BlackBerry UEM in weeks to gain unified visibility, remote configuration, firmware updates, asset tracking and secure containerisation. The rollout of 100+ Samsung devices was seamless, the self-service portal reduced IT support burden, and clinicians experienced no workflow disruption. As a result, Tū Ora now has a more secure, manageable mobile estate, improved compliance and the capacity to pursue further digital initiatives with confidence.
