How BlackBerry Simplifes Work for the BAUER Group

The BAUER Group is a leading German construction and mechanical engineering company with around 11,000 employees and more than 110 subsidiaries. As remote work and mobile device use grew across its varied business units, BAUER needed a reliable Enterprise Mobility Management solution to protect corporate data, enable secure remote access and ensure GDPR compliance.

BAUER implemented the BlackBerry Enterprise Mobility Suite—using a COPE model with BlackBerry Dynamics and BlackBerry Work—to containerize and encrypt business data while allowing private device use. Combined with user training and simple app-based onboarding, the solution enabled rapid employee provisioning, remote wipe/blocking of lost devices, seamless use of Microsoft apps and improved secure collaboration across the group.
