Provincia Seguros, an Argentine insurance company in Grupo Banco Provincia with 29 offices nationwide, faced slow, paper-based auto underwriting: agents filled out forms before inspections, generating delays, extra administrative steps and frequent rescheduling while inspections were completed 48–72 hours later.
To fix this, Provincia equipped 300 agents with BlackBerry smartphones running Sondeos’ Prior Vehicle Inspection Form App (managed via BlackBerry Enterprise Server). The app enforces required fields, captures and auto-attaches photos, and sends completed records instantly so provisional coverage can be issued on the spot—cutting a multi-step process to about three–four minutes, eliminating second trips, improving customer service and reducing paperwork and costs.
